Carseat Canopy

I made a car seat canopy for this next little baby that is coming in July. The material on the inside is the same as the the material on the straps for the handle. And the fabric flowers are so easy to make! I think it looks nice and springy. I used a really good tutorial here is the link if you want to make one. And here is the link for the fabric flower in case you want to use it for something else.

  1. That is so cute! I have one for my son and I love it. I love the bibs you made, too. You are amazing!! I really should start sewing but my machine is older than dirt. It messes up everything I attempt to make because it pretty much eats the fabric. Do you have a nice machine? Have you ever made a shopping cart cover? I really want a nice one for Lakai but they are SO expensive! If you feel like making me one I will pay you!

  2. Thank you! I just started sewing again recently. No I just have a cheap machine from walmart it was 60 bucks but had a ton of 5 star reviews. It just does strait and zigzag stiching but it works really good I love it. I have not made a shopping cart cover but I will start trying, I saw a pattern online. Andrea was wanting one too.

  3. Wow, I should go buy the same machine you have if it's only $60! What kind is it? You really are talented, Rach! I used to be good at sewing but lately I haven't had the motivation do it. You might inspire me to actually start again!

I think my favorite is infarrantly creative, it is one of the blogs I follow. That is where I got the carseat tutorial.
