This is the first Itty Bitty Baby Dress I have made but I am sure to be making more over the next few months. I want to make one in the newborn size for this new baby as her coming home dress. And I also want to make one for my little girl. The one I made today took less than half a yard of fabric, it is the 1-3 months size. The free pattern I used is right here. It is on the Made By Rae blog, which is great. She also has some really cute hand bag patterns so make sure and stop by her site.
I was surprised by how easy it was to make. I am a a beginner when it comes to sewing and I didn't have much of a problem. This was even my first time gathering, using piping, and bias tape. LOL. But it turned out okay, the stitches are a little crooked, and where the piping meets up is a little
wonky. Next time will be much quicker and I'm sure it will look better too. I will add the dresses that I do later to this post. Have a good weekend!!
This is super cute. I might have to try one for T.
