Nursing cover

I thought I would start out posting a few of my recent projects. I have been feeling pretty crafty lately. First of all I made a nursing cover for myself (I made the brown one for myself and the black one for my cousin as a baby shower gift). I have a family member that bought a hooter hider (35$) but that is just too much for me to spend on a nursing cover. I love that these have the boning in the front so that you can see your baby and they can get a little more air. And the straps are a huge plus, my first baby was always pulling the blanket off while I was trying to nurse her. So I started searching for patterns and found a great tutorial here All of the supplies cost me about 7$ (much better). I am so excited to try it out. And if anyone does not want or know how to make one for themselves I would be happy to make one for you for 15$ and 3$ shipping.

And if you want to see one in use just search hooter hiders.

  1. You are amazing, Rachel! I have a hooter hider that my friend made me and I LOVE IT! I use it all the time. Lakai is starting to pull it off now that he's so big but it worked great for the first 5 months. I might have to buy one from you when I have my next kid. I'm glad you started a blog so I can see all your cute stuff, you are so talented.
