This second one is an old instant coffee tin and I used some scrap book paper, stickers, and modge podge for this one. I made it to go in my laundry room for all the stuff I find in pockets when I am doing laundry.

DIY Storage Containers
I made some containers recently. The first one is a old oats container that I fixed up using modge podge and some left over fabric from one of my nursing covers I made. I made it for some of my sewing supplies like pencils, scissors, my measuring tape, pins, etc.

I really like these ideas! It gives me a few ideas of what to do with some old fabric and things I have just laying around waiting for me to use.
ReplyDeletegreat ideas....I need to get some things from a craft store to have on hand for when the mood strikes me lol ;)
ReplyDeleteWe did the coffee tin idea with kids a couple years ago at a church outing. They made the prettiest things. One family friend (she was 6 at the time!) made one for me that was decorated with white feathers around a button......... My cats got to it last winter... I was so mad........
